Job Title: FabShop Associate

An entry level support role, responsible for assignments in the preparatory work, material handling, and fulfillment assistance on the R. Riveter Production and Warehouse teams.

 

Roles in Production include:

  • Assembly -  Operate from work orders, order cards and/or verbal instructions by measuring, kitting and staging for the operator team. Assist in Quality Control of completed products.
  • Fulfillment/Warehouse – Receive and process in finished inventory and assist in fulfillment of sales orders
  • Materials Management - Organize stock and maintain material and work in progress inventory

A detail and process-oriented position that participates in the maintenance, staging and distribution of materials and components needed for the manufacturing of product and fulfillment to the end customer.  A well organized, multi-tasker, mission driven, team player will thrive here. No sewing skills required and on the job training is provided.

 

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Handling and distribution of materials to achieve staging and production goals and complete work according to defined manufacture orders, SOPs and quality standards
  • Filling of orders in a timely and accurate manner through warehouse systems
  • Inspection and receipt of finished goods and recording into systems
  • Meeting and recording daily goals to the extent assigned to your role
  • Contribution of ideas on ways to improve or optimize company procedures
  • Participation in maintaining a safe and clean workplace
  • Performing as a key support element to the greater production team
  • 32+ Hours per week

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience using industrial sewing machines is not required but is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback from other team members and willingness to fix and learn from mistakes
  • Good time management skills, flexibility and ability to multitask
  • Ability to follow written directions, tech packs, and production patterns and processes
  • Strong team player
